Organic
Spray Tanning
At Rising Tide Wellness we use a “closed system” colonic irrigation device. A closed system is described as one that allows water to enter the colon through a disposable plastic tube and waste material to exit through a larger tube, from there it flows through an observation tube and into the drainage system. The water temperature and pressure are controlled by a therapist guided by gauges on the instrument. The regulation of the temperature and pressure can be customized to the patient's comfort. There is no open evacuation and no offensive odors. The patient is fully draped, their dignity is respected at all times.
Colon hydrotherapy is a safe, effective, method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs. By introducing filtered and temperature regulated water into the colon, the waste is softened and loosened, resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis. This process is repeated a few times during a session.
Colon hydrotherapy best benefits the body when used in combination with adequate nutrient and fluid intake as well as exercise. Today's sophisticated technology makes this health practice both safe and sanitary.
At Rising Tide Wellness we offer an Organic spray tanning solution in place of the more commonly used chemical for self tanning. Spray tanning offers a nice glow to the skin lasting 5-9 days without the harmful exposure to UV rays and/or use of a tanning bed.

Ear
Candling
Ear candling is a holistic procedure used to remove excess wax, draw out toxins and pollutants, cleanse the sinus cavities, improve hearing and other senses and revitalize the nerve endings. It is also thought to have a psychic, emotional and spiritual impact on a person as it draws out negative toxins and revives the energy flows throughout the body.
Because of all the intricate crevices in the ear, unbelievable amounts of debris can accumulate. This buildup creates a breeding ground for problems and can also interfere with correct hearing. Impacted wax can build up against ear ducts and can also block reception of incoming sound waves. This lifetime accumulation may explain some of the hearing problems we develop as we age. Yeasts, allergies or just wax build-up removed from the ear canal regularly will restore hearing, relieve tension or pressure in the ear and sometimes relieve other symptoms not consciously connected with the ear condition before the process. The moist warm dark conditions in the ear cause fast growth of many organisms. If excess ear wax blocks the ear it can cause pressure build-up from various organisms.
Clinical studies show that candida (yeast) often becomes established in the middle ear after one or two episodes of infection where an antibiotic has been used. Candling is believed to remove candida, yeasts, fungus, and remnants of past infections. Ionic Detox
Foot Bath
Through a process called electrolysis, the water in an Ionic Foot Bath (in combination with added sea salt) is charged into positive and negative ions. Toxins are also charged particles and as they circulate through the blood in the region of the foot, they are then naturally drawn to their opposite charge in the water that the foot is submersed in. Initiated through the attraction of opposite charges and facilitated through both osmosis and diffusion, any negatively charged toxins are drawn to positively charged ions in the water and any positively charge toxins are drawn out into the water by negatively charged ions. In the end these toxins are then neutralized in the water of the foot bath. What you see with a change in colour to the water in the foot bath relates in a visual way to accumulated toxins from the body being released from the body into this bath.
